The National Innovation Council’s mission is to equip tomorrow’s cross‑disciplinary change leaders with AI tools, leadership training, and real projects that create measurable global impact.

We’re recruiting outstanding student leaders for our Presidential Internship Program—an unprecedented opportunity to accelerate your career by launching one of the founding on‑campus NIC Chapters.

This paid internship moves your career forward by giving you the tools to grow as a leader and stand out to graduate programs and hiring managers—while earning compensation along the way.

As a Presidential Intern, you will launch and serve as Chapter President of your NIC Chapter: recruiting a Faculty Advisor, appointing your Executive Board, managing the chapter’s operations and budget, and leading events with your Board and Advisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Recruit and manage a student Executive Board
  • Appoint & designate a University Advisor
  • Attend virtual trainings and meetings
  • Grow chapter membership via outreach initiatives
  • Lead events with the Executive Board and Chapter Advisor
  • Dedicate 5-7 hours/week to your growth 
  • Option to stay on as Founding President

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current student at a college/university in the US for the current academic year
  • Actively engaged with your school and in your community
  • Have at least three semesters/terms remaining in your program
  • Proficient with video conferencing technology
  • Able to dedicate 5-7 hrs/week during the summer
